どんな作品を作るときも、何らかの形で鑑賞者の心を動かすことを目標にしています。人々が立ち止まって私の世界に足を踏み入れ、新たな閃きを経験してほしいと思っています。それは、どんなものにもある喜びや幸福を浮かび上がらせるものなのです。美しさはすべてのものと人の中に存在すると信じ、華やかさを強調するのではなく街の自然な活力と隠された親交を描き出すことを目指しています。

My goal in doing any piece of artwork is to move the viewer in some way. I aspire to make people stop in their tracks, step into my world, and experience a new insight — one that illuminates the joy and happiness implicit in all things, even the mundane. I believe that beauty is in everything and everyone and, as a result, I strive not to glamorize, but to depict the city’s natural vibrancy and hidden intimacies.
